5 Steps For Removing Ink From clothes

First step: Act quickly

The stain may not be completely cleaned if it’s old. So many cleaning experts advise removing ink from clothes immediately for better results, the longer the ink sits on your clothes, the more challenging it becomes to remove.

  • Lemon juice and salt:

  1. Mix lemon juice with salt to make a paste. You can also use vinegar but less than lemon juice.
  2. Apply the mixture to the stain for 30 minutes.
  3. Wash the area with cold water.

  • Alcohol-based hairspray:

Spray a small amount of alcohol-based hairspray on the ink stain, and start scrubbing the stain with a sponge, then wash it with water.

Fifth step: Launder as usual

After finishing this process, you should now start to launder your clothes and follow the care instructions on the label, after finishing launder check on the stain, if it still exists, repeat the process.

Removing ink stains from leather:

Leather needs special care to remove the ink. Some leather needs immediate care. Some homemade treatments are harmful to the leather, it’s not preferable to use any recipes, especially for leather.
